The location is terrific. Right on the square and easy walking distance to many attractions. The bar was fun. Cool atmosphere. Lots of dark, heavy wood. Old European feel.
The side of the hotel where I stayed was very noisy. Sounded like someone rolling beer barrels down the alley at all times of night and early morning. There was also the strong smell of food cooking that came in through the windows. Be sure to ask for a room not on that alley.

Unbeatable and comfortable location, easy walk to Quincentennial Fountain. Beautifully decorated and modern rooms and comfortable beds. Very amiable staff and amazing breakfast with a wide range of options.

Totally recommend for a trip
Comfortable room, convenient location, with easy walking access to nearby attractions like the Latin Quarter and Spanish Arch. The staff was friendly and the pub experience vibrant, especially with the busy crowds we encountered for the Halloween festival.
Absolutely nothing to criticize.

The staff are genuinely friendly and most helpful, the hotel is very well run, and our room was well equipped and perfectly presented. We were staying only two nights but the towels were changed and all else replaced for the second day. The location is probably the best in Galway city centre with Eyre Square in front and very restricted through traffic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

There were a few things amiss in our room - sink cracked, the lock to the bathroom door stuck and the handle to window loose. And our friends' room's bathroom was very mouldy and there was a bad odour from it.

Very noisy at night, tried to call the night porter on 3 different occasions and there was no reply.

The rooms were modern and clean. The food in the bar was really good for bar food. The location of the hotel is on Eyre square so it's fantastic. The check in staff were brilliant and extremely helpful over our 2 night stay. Would definitely recommend!!!

The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the
Heart of Galway. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The noise from the nearby pubs was a bit disruptive at night, but it was manageable for the vibrant atmosphere it offered.

Beautiful building and rooms with comfy beds. Excellent staff and amazing location, perfect for me. For tea or coffee visit Pascal Coffee House nearby.

Great location, excellent breakfast included, friendly staff, decent rooms.
Leak in hallway that soaked carpets and seemed like no one was fixing.

Unboxing my experience
The pub atmosphere thrives here! Breakfast was a delight, with attentive service. Great location near shops, but be ready for some noise from the lively bar below. Earplugs are a thoughtful touch for light sleepers. Friendly staff was nice, despite a few wear-and-tear signs in the rooms.

Staff were helpful and rooms were nicely decorated and well ventilated, showers were brill, really powerful, and excellant location, good band and good door men, really young people were in a different level, good co ordination
3 of us stayed the night so we booked 1 single room and 1 double room, I was staying in single room, however my room was huge, I had a queen bed which would fit 6 people in, the couple got a tiny room with only a double bed and were walking into each other, I swapped with them but the hotel should have allocated the rooms better!! Otherwise lovely stay and excellant location

Cool spot, but the noise was rough
Had a pretty nice time! The location is spot on, right near everything you wanna see. The staff was super friendly, and the bar had some good vibes. Only problem was the music getting too loud at night. Couldn't sleep well with that thumping bass. I enjoyed my stay, just wish it was a bit quieter.
